ISAAA releases an additional set of four countries to the series Biotech
Country Facts and Trends. The new set includes the four industrial countries
in the 18 biotech mega-countries in 2016 that grew 50,000 hectares, or more,
of biotech crops: United States of America, Canada, Australia, and Spain.

Biotech Country Facts and Trends are concise summaries highlighting the
commercialization of biotech crops in specific countries. Data on biotech
crop commercialization (area and adoption), approvals and planting, benefits
and future prospects for each country are presented in a brief and easily
understandable manner. The contents are based on ISAAA Brief 52, Global
Status of Commercialized Biotech/GM Crops: 2016.
