The International Food Policy and Research Institute (IFPRI) and its
partners released the Global Nutrition Report 2014, the first-ever
comprehensive narrative on health and country-level progress toward reducing
malnutrition across the globe. The report contains a global profile and
country profiles on nutrition for each of the United Nations' 193 member
states, with accounts on the specific developments happening for each
country. It will be a centerpiece of the 2nd International Conference on
Nutrition (ICN2) in Rome on November 19-21, 2014.
Furthermore, the report includes case studies from Bangladesh, Brazil,
Burkina Faso, Indonesia, and India. Country profiles provide dashboards of
more than 80 indicators of nutrition outcomes, determinants, program
coverage, resources, and political commitment.
